>>8061 No, it isn't. You can mostly tell when something has been translated by a machine. Aside from making stupid mistakes and sounding too literal, it can't capture all of the subtleties, word choices and different ways of speaking in Japanese which are far more plentiful than they are in English. For example, I used "認めざるを得ない" which is a kind of archaic way of saying that I am forced to recognize something (that being the attractiveness of women's feet). The more standard and widely used way to say it would probably be 認めるしかない or something similar. There are also different particles that I used to make it sound more formal and archaic like すら or など. Also, from all of the examples I've seen, the machine forces itself to use polite speech. You're welcome to prove me wrong though, since I'm not well-versed in AI stuff.

日本語は感情表現が豊か過ぎてめんどくさいんだよね 別に何か匂わせようとはしてないときでも こんな言い方するとこう受け取られるかもしれないみたいなこと考え抜いた言葉選びを強いられる 他の言語にそういうのが無いとは思わないけど 日本語は同じ文でも言い方のパターンがやたら多いから、どれ選ぶかで意図が発生しちゃうんだよね AIは俺が知ってるのはみんな如何にも英語から翻訳しましたって感じのやつばっかりだから 日本語で学習したAIがどれくらい自然に話すもんなのかはよく知らんけども この令和の時代にいまだに匿名掲示板に張り付いてるような日本人とか だいたい自閉症入ってそうな変なやつばっかりだから そいつらに比べたらもうAIとか外人の方が日本語上手いんじゃねって思う

>>8087 別に英語における表現余地は貧しいとは言っていないが、問題は英語と日本語の文法的な距離が広すぎて、不自然な言い方をしてしまう恐れがある。君のように「けども」や「話すもんなのか」みたいな表現を口にする発想が普通に入らない。いっそ適当に「けど・が」や「話すのか」のような物言いを使う。匿名掲示板に張り付いているdicksword風情がろくに言葉を書けないという点には一理ある。日本語世界でも変わらないことらしい。あんな白痴野郎どもの爆発的オカマ発作を聞いて居られん。
