i bought a 94 audi a4 for my first car, it worked for few years and it gave me many memories. past few weeks i was looking at used car market and it absolutely sucked. if you are poor stay away from old "premium" cars, especially bmw. rear wheel drive tax is real and these cars require a lot of maintenance. also power comes from fuel. be wary of mpg of a car

my first ever car was a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer. my current car is a 2017 Chevy Equinox. i am not really a car guy so i buy first and foremost for practicality.
