I've been feeling miserable sleeping at 7AM and waking up at 3-4PM. I've started trying to sleep earlier but it's hard to course correct my schedule. How can I achieve something that's actually healthy

>>10184 False alarm. I been waking up at 7AM and sleeping at around 12AM instead. In fact I will go to bed now, things have been going great. The next thing I need to work on is leaving the house more happy2

>>

The strategy is to sleep just enough to not be tired the entire day but also be tired at a better time. Like I slept at 5AM, and forced myself to wake up at 10AM and I felt fine for the day but I felt tired at around 10PM. Before, I'd try to pull an all nighter and sleep at a better time the next day but I always end up taking random fat naps instead of a proper sleep. I feel like this only works for me when I have to go out the next day and be active since I think it's harder to feel tired during that, but I spend most of my days indoors in my room.

Who was in the right?

>>

wily actually. he probably prefers 2D. maybe the quality is more pristine there? maybe the lighting doesn't look shitty? maybe most of them aren't created with a sleazy capitalist mindset? maybe the drawn women are worth the nakadashi because they don't look like whores?

adhd medication makes me wonder just how powerful i'd be if autism and adhd didn't buff each other. skeptical

>>

>>10158 the things that are symbolized by these words are mostly, 'real', that is is, they are real experiences, sure, it's experienced as experiences by you, an individual, but the names, the 'definitions', the structures, all the possible narratives surrounding it are ghosts and remain ghosts as long as u don't stop seeing them as ghosts. YOU are real, the 'world' and its stories and creeds aren't. all names and labels and stories are mere manipulations, for better or worse. if u feel something, then that's what it just is, the moment u put Grand Names on them you get enmeshed into the various narratives of "The World" and it can be hard to get out of.

>>

>>10158 Just don't let things that can be denied affect your life in such a way that you end up feeling less joy. And coping by posting about your misery on hikarichan is not joyful...

reminder to go outside today, Hikarin. nature is your friend! happy2

>>

I usually struggle with being able to go out due to being night shift and I spend my remaining time at my pc nature is very nice tho nya

>>

>>10153 What do you work as hikarin? skeptical

>>

>>10154 I work with computers for a big organization. Doesn't help me in limiting my screen time down That's alright tho bc computers are my passion nya

>>

>>10153 that is fair. i used to be night shift as well. even getting some fresh air with a comfy /nightwalk/ can have some benefits. alternatively, getting some early/late sun at dawn/dusk helps you get your sun intake too.

BOO! scared you, huh?

>>

>>10121 Anon is lucky he doesn't knows what's working all motherfucking day like a donkey

>>

>>10123 You'd like David Graeber

>>

>>10121 it would be wrong to say we aren't meant to work. it's true we aren't meant to wageslave at useless, brain-melting modern jobs. but humans are creative, innovative, driven, creatures. i think the fact we can experience boredom is enough to show we are meant for work. meaningful work, that is.

>>

>>10132 replied guy here. oh the 12 hours thing? nah, i know. i know full well. >>10123 incomparable, "hunter gatherers" is a completely different mode of being, like you're different species altogether, i'd say, the difference in psyche and soul as much as if you meet someone from a wizardworld isekai, it's just too alien

>>

>>10139 I mean yeah, the world now is so industrialised that your current working man is very different from his ancient hunter gatherer ancestors, same deal with western men compared to men living in primitive tribal communities like in africa or asia. Still, the common connection with all of them is that they have to give effort to survive, it's just that maybe the more primitive life style of hunting for food is less effort and less stressful than working for food. Perhaps its more of a question of improving working conditions for the working class, but that seems to be an issue that's never fixed, so maybe we should just return to monke.

learning a dead language is one of the comfiest thing (u know, Latin, obscure ancient shit, or conlangs). unlike contemporary world languages, there's no sense of rush or deadlines, u just slowly learn at your own pace, this adds in the factor of the native speakers all are dead and gone there's even less pressure for u, u are just alone with the language, no one to bother u about. sure, grammatically correct, and all. but like i said, no pressure, u do what u want however u want anytime u want. oh, and besides, all these old ancient languages are just intrinsically superior than current contemporary ones, not because they seem "exotically ancient", but they are just... deeper. there's more depths, autiticism and worlds in them. conjugations? treat it like one of those hard games. it's all fucken daunting at first like "what the fuck this is all too much" but now that i literally can conjugate all latin verb tenses it's a very unique feeling. it takes time, and it won't be a day (unless you're one of those people from 200 years ago that just can) but it's worth it. and the end is far. u just know it'd be some years. but it's a long, long, slow and comfy videogame, and no one's forcing u to do anything.

>>

are you learning a dead language right now? i think if i were to learn one it would be latin or ancient greek.

>>

>>10117 op here, yeah, dabbling, its freaking hard though, you really need to memorize the tables or you'd walk limplegged like a lame when reading a sentence. not to mention all the other stuffs. to me i see three ways of going with these shits (latin, greek, etc) 1. u like the culture/ethnos quite much that u are fine if you are to larp as them 2. or u like linguistics in general as nerdy specific interest 3. or without any interest all u have to rely on is Sheer Pure Will, and u see how fortitous u are

>>

>>10120 the best way to learn a language is by using the language (speaking, writing, ingesting) so learning a dead language is doubly hard because there's nobody to speak to laugh best of luck hikarin

>>

>>10134 there's a certain charm to being quite alone with a language that no one speaks. imagine being lvl 999 in a completely dead unpopulated mmo, it's very solitary, but there's a certain romanticism to it "it's all mine, alone".
