ITT Video/Computer games that were either completed but unreleased or MOSTLY completed but unreleased that you want to play. Picrel is not technically a game but an expansion for Ultima VIII called "The Lost Vale" which was completed and ready to go but shelved due to poor sales of Ultima VIII.

it was Star Fox 2 until it was released, other than that, i haven't really cared for most of them. >Picrel is not technically a game but an expansion for Ultima VIII called "The Lost Vale" which was completed and ready to go but shelved due to poor sales of Ultima VIII. seems interesting, this lead me to watch a video about it. very unfortunate the developer's hard work was shelved.

i'm not a huge final fantasy person, but recently i've been looking at the older trailers for Versus 13, and i do really wish that it either released, or that Nomura will be able to realize his vision for it someday (it looks like he's trying to turn Kingdom Hearts into Versus 13, which i honestly kind of respect lol) this game's setting and atmosphere looked really unique, there still aren't a lot of JRPGs that have a contemporary/modern setting, let alone one that blends aspects of both modern and fantasy also it just looks cool https://youtu.be/b6At_bb1PNU?feature=shared

>>

I'm so mad they didn't release the Ultima VIII expansion. It was even finished :(

>>

I always felt that this would've been a comfy SimCity/The Sims spinoff.

Any anons here based and still play Quake 3/Quake live or any arena shooter in 2024? >inb4 duhhhh 20 year old game got 300 ppl playing it lole ded game >inb4 y r ur graphic so bade? u hav bad pc? >inb4 wat habben 2 ur gun wow?

>>

Oops, ignore "wow" in the last greentext.

>>

The last time I played Quake 3 arena was 5 years ago roughly. It is a dull game when you play alone, but fun with friends. Since I didn't have any friends for roughly 5 years, you can guess the rest.

>>

i dont like losing so i just pwned bots for hours on end listening to lil peep and sometimes calling up a friend.. comfy times

>>

quake llive is very much fun, i play it all the time with friends

is the hikari3 steam group gonna be used for anything?

>>

what would we play though? i'm not aware of any co-op hentai

>>

hmmm. i think a monthly hikari3 game night would be fun! not sure what we'd play, i put up TF2 because it's free, but there are tons of options we could choose from. HL2:DM is a funny choice too, perhaps a thread is in order?

>>

>>784 >perhaps a thread is in order? Sounds fun! I'd be down.

>>

i dislike playing coop games but if u streamed it i would like to hang out

>>

>>789 that's certainly possible. i wouldn't mind streaming it as long as it's cool with everyone else, but i understand if not. even if you aren't interested i'll still offer and say you're always welcome to join us! btw there is now a thread >>786

how are you guys feeling about Nicolas cage being added to dbd. his perk Dramaturgy seems like it would be a pretty good perk similar to dead hard but with rng.

is the monster hunter series a really good game? I am watching some videos about the hunting horn and it looks cool, which one should I play? I have only steam so a game on PC. Is the hunting horn easy/good to use? should I wait to buy the next game when it will be out?

>>

I started playing Monster Hunter with MonHun: World. At first I thought the controls were really clunky and I didn't fully understand the gameplay loop. It was a bit of an ordeal to grasp it on my own but when I started playing with friends I had an absolute blast. To be fair it helped that my friends were there to guide me through everything I didn't understand. After their lessons I enjoyed the game much MUCH more. It is fun on your own but I recomend playing with others even if its folks online or (preferably) friends that you know well. Monster Hunter is great but it really shines when you play with friends. Personally my favorite so far is Monster Hunter Rise. Monster Hunter World was good and all but it felt like doing anything in that game took forever. Rise's gameplay loop was quick and snappy by comparison and I definitely enjoyed that. If you have a PC and Monster Hunter Rise is on sale I recomend buying it and giving it a try. The next game isn't coming out until some unspecified time next year so you have plenty of time to sink your teeth into one of the other Monster Hunter Games. As for the Hunting Horn.... I can't help you there. I main Great Sword and Bow. All I can say is that Hunting horn tends to be a support weapon but it does huge damage when you know what you're doing. Hope this helps! :)

>>766 thank you very much for replying

>>

>>761 It used to be the game for PSP but strangely enough I never had a copy. Played a demo once but I mostly play VNs and horror titles so I never got into it. There was a big hype around the PSP titles back in the day. That's all I know.

>>

Yeah if you like fighting giant beasts

I have been playing old games with a focus on immersion and all of them had fantasy settings. Recommend me old games with sci-fi atmospheres, any genre is fine.

>>

system shock 2 is very immersive

Just got minecraft(cracked). Give me a good server to play on.

>>

It was fun guys but I turned off the server due to lack of activity

>>

>>653 Geez, I was just starting to build my house. Still, it's understandble that paying for a server where nobody plays in is a pure waste of money. But, can you at least share the world save as a memorial?

>>

>>654 Okay... But I will take if out if it overconsumes bandwidth: https://unreadable.info/bck.zip The user passwords were hashed, so theres nothing to hide there

>>

>>655 You probably shouldn't include the logs in that, they have the players' IPs

>>456 love the 'craft

>>247 Fucking God Hand. There are parts of this game that I was stuck on for days and days trying and failing miserably. When the game drops like 20 of the hardest enemies on you on the last level, I thought it was just beyond me, but I SOMEHOW managed to get through it just barely alive.

I'm playing through Chaos;Head atm. Hoping to go through the whole series in order starting with Chaos;Head. Played and watched Steins;Gate and Zero a long while ago too C;H is a really insane ride so far lol

>>

>>307 I've just finished Chaos;Head for the first time and it's a pretty wild ride, really fun! As the other anons said, they're in the same universe, but only loosely. Websites like @channel and some occasional references to each other (except with Robotics;Notes Dash as said above) but otherwise don't interact. Id say just pick one and play it, Steins;Gate is just the most well-known of them, but honestly feel any is fine to start with.

>>306 I only played Chaos;Head & Child, Steins;Gate. my favorite of them all was definitely Chaos;Child. chaos head was good and has my favorite girls but chaos child just does everything else the best. the story and the art etc. just a shame there was no nanami or what was her name,.. the other sexy loli girl. norriii, kerpeww! girl. ah she was the cutest. I saw there was a new release of the games for switch a little while ago. I heard it was censored somehow etc. but I don't have a switch. someone tell me what they think of robots;notes and whatever else has come out since :p I'm curious. I was obsessed with this whole series years ago but I've fallen off with it since 2016 about. Chaos Head was always the most cozy for me. playing as takumi makes you feel like you're always escaping real life to play as another person, trying to escape their own life and it really gets you into it that way.. hiding in your little cave and playing online. only to be bothered by a bunch of sexy gurls, stalked by some make a wish kid who threatens you. the game gave me the dream of living in my own little hole in the middle of shibuya one day.

>>589 >someone tell me what they think of robots;notes and whatever else has come out since :p I'm curious I played Robotics;Notes a couple years ago, and man I have a lot to say... Robotics;Notes is inspired by mecha anime. A lot. Back when I read it I hadn't seen a lot of mecha at that point, but I could still tell that it was just a huge tribute to that whole genre. Its story feels a lot like highschool club slice-of-life anime, a robotics club in this case. But then, a whole lot of conspiracy-theory shit happens and it takes a huge turn in a completely different direction. I guess it's sort of the same as Steins;Gate in that regard. Also, there's a lot of references to Steins;Gate. There's a twitter-like social media (sort of like how you could view @Channel threads in Chaos;Child, you can see Twitter posts here, can't really remember what it was called) and you get to see some posts by Kurisu there. Daru gets mentioned a lot and Nae (Mr. Braun's daughter) is a really important character (and all grown up now). I don't really remember the whole story, but it gets really, really deep into the whole Committee of 300 conspiracy. There's even a real mad scientist character here, who's something like the main antagonist. I feel like it's supposed to set up a lot for future VNs in this series, since I sort of remember it leaving a lot of unanswered questions about the organization. Also, there's apparently a regular Robotics;Notes and Robotics;Notes ELITE. The ELITE version is what I played because everyone says that's the one you should play. It looks a little different from a standard VN because all the character sprites are 3D (pic related). It was a little weird at first but I remember warming up to it pretty quickly. Also there's a lot of movies with animation that looks like it came straight out of an anime, so that's pretty unique too. About the other VNs that've come out, I haven't played Robotics;Notes DASH yet, but I hear that a new Steins;Gate VN is supposed to be releasing soon. The name and synopsis is unknown currently, it's only known as Steins:Gate ???. So that's pretty exciting. Also apparently, a completely new VN came out too, called Anonymous;Code. I have zero idea what it's about, but I know that it's in this same universe and not a part of the Steins;Gate, Chaos;Head or Robotics;Notes series.

arimura...

>>

>>307 here, i probably should've also asked which versions of the games should i play as well lol it also screws with me when VNs have multiple different versions, i'm always afraid some version will have content missing or something... i'm writing a thing about 16bit sensation, and that anime reminded me that i still need to play steins;gate at some point...
