as we all know subbed anime is superior. but are there any specific anime you prefer to watch dubbed? i always watch Naruto and Code Geass with the dub over the sub. mostly for nostalgia reasons, but i also believe that English Lelouch does a better job than Japanese Lelouch which is pretty rare.

I did a quick estimate and it seems like there's only about 50-odd "acceptable" anime left for me to watch, by which I mean all the characters are virgins throughout with only minimal romance allowed By my estimate, that leaves me with only little more than a year to enjoy anime - how does hikarin practice managed decline in this situation? A lot of my hobbies are also weeaboo-adjacent so it's a big step to plan out. Feels like I'm taking charge of a relative's end-of-life care here.

not obscure but no one watches aim for the ace anymore! and thats really sad i think. i started watching it with my gf just because its name gets referenced in the name for anno's first show, and we're really loving it so far

1. a kite 2. ghost in the shell (rewatched three times somehow? so im counting it) 3. haruhi 4. apocalypse hotel 5. city the animation apocalypse hotel and city were my fave shows of that year. really hard to choose between them, as apocalypse had better individual episodes but city was more consistently great.

Here are some selected artists, and my fav tracks/works from them. Lemon's Chair - I Hate? I Hope? I typically listen to this album all the way through Tokyo Shoegazer - Awake Most of there stuff isn't very mellow, but this track has a nice rhythm Niz - Stone EP I listen to the whole EP at once, each time Cruyff in the Bedroom Now getting into the vocaloid shoegaze, I listened to a lot of it on my Japan trip. I floated around the train station Hon-Astugi in Kanagawa for a month like burnt out loner with no ambition to do touristy stuff, and no ability to communicate with the locals. I'd sleep until 2pm, and get a few hours of sunshine whether than was through restaurant windows; taking the train to literal nowhere (e.g. Isehara station) and walk out in a random direction; or walking around Ebina's large mall plazas. The "suburbs/sprawl" is so beautiful and pure there, it's incredible. not sure if dejiko is a fujoshi, but it is strange that she knows what yaoi is at the age of ten. but its not uncommon actually, i had early accses to the internet and i learned about fujoshi's and yaoi when i was like nine...
