my fellow man's of culture in /jp/... HOW TO LEARN JAPANESE? I think some here already can read and understand some basic level of japanese.
I don't want to do grammar books because most of them are... A bit of waste of time? I dunno. And I am veeeryy lazy to do anki cards. I was learning the kanji radicals but I stopped by one day and I lost my streak 
currently I only know Hiragana.
I really wanted to learn because there is a lot's of japanese media that simply isn't translated, and I can't enjoy because:

>>683 Sharing experience : I had one half a year break when I was learning and it took 1.5 weeks to catch up. If you feel like you literally cant go on anymore you can try taking a break but keep thinking about japanese so that your brain will automatically motivate you to pick up again in some time, i cant promise it will work for you but thats the tactics I use for everything i learn I also used https://jpdb.io/ instead of anki because it has cool features sch as going through each word of a videogame or an anime chronologically

>>729 >>1381 my fucking god i can't even imagine putting this much effort into something. all i did was read a few guides on the internet and then just started figuring out the grammar and vocabulary piece by piece through reading and listening. took me a while to be able read much but i could never do shit like memorizing anki cards or studying kanji because i fucking hate studying. though i started doing all of this when i was young and not long after i really started caring about anime so maybe it's different for people who started learning as an adult because of brain stuff. i do want to have a fun discussion about japanese grammar with you so please talk to me about anything you find interesting. also explain the n levels shit to me because i don't get it.

>>1384 Your japanese level is measured from n5 to n1 n5 is the first and most basic and then n1 is cooler then an average native I think. U need to take an official test somewhere to determine what level u are and get a certificate so u can put it in ur resume or something Your learning way is pretty cool when it works because it means you probably percieve the language similar to japanese people. I wonder if you can understand bits of chinese text though?
I have no idea where these other millennials acting like geriatric old men from the 1950s came from. Though it isnt an age thing alone it is the corporatization of the internet and social media algorithms mass brainwashing users into toxicity and stupidity
