Are any of you interested in the new GTA? Personally, I'm not a big fan of the franchise, but Rockstar always brings some really interesting new technologies to their games, so I'm very curious to see what they'll bring to a new main title of what is essentially their golden egg goose.

i think GTA was the was the game series that made me realize that i really hate open world stuff i need a concrete objective in a focused space in games, otherwise i get either bored or stressed out i will say it's funny how 4chan /v/ immediately chilled out when the trailer dropped, if you filter all the GTA 6 threads and go into one of the non-GTA 6 threads, it's almost heavenly

>>510 I feel the opposite. I love open-world, but the reason I don't like GTA is exactly because I feel it's too linear for an open-world game. There's really not much else to do besides following the main mission, although there are side-missions spread across the map, they always feel so poorly written and they are just there so the game can feel more content rich than it really is, and even the main mission don't really offer the player any meaningful power of choice. My favorite open-worlds are the immersive sims like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or Bethesda games and sandbox ones like Minecraft where you really have an almost infinite range of choices on how to play the game and can have fun even if you don't follow the main quest(so much that I almost never finish these games even after spending 100+ hours in it) I see Rockstar games more as technology show off. I enjoy seeing their over-detailed landscapes, complex NPC behaviors, wildlife or whatever more they bring.

the new map looks huge for gta6

>>509 The trailer looks accurate to how bad modern america looks. Also GTA games are overrated trash.
>>
>>515 I don't think GTA games are completely trash. I just think they're fun to mess around in but I don't really care for the stories and stuff like that

>>515 Hey, at least you get to kill the 'murican degeneracy.
