Comfy obscure games thread. Discuss comfy games that are not well known. Anything is fair game. I'll start https://archive.org/details/junko-v-1.02 (Really cute and well made for a game jam game free too!) GiFTPiA (Really relaxing gamecube game nobody every discusses https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3p7XhdXlBQ)

>>449 Fear and hunger. It is very comfy. Trust me

there's this game on the ps2 that looks really cute. it's called Poinie's Poin; it's japan-only, but has a full english localization with english voices and everything, which is really odd, but it reminds me a lot of a 90s cartoon. i wish it got released here or something. https://youtu.be/kj6fBzDVLmo?feature=shared there's also this skating game on the gamecube called Go Go Hypergrind published by atlus...but made in cooperation with spumco (the animation studio that made ren and stimpy) it only ever released in north america despite being developed in japan, so it's really expensive and hard to find now...which sucks, because once upon a time, it was dirt cheap, i could've bought it at one point i love the music in this game, though https://youtu.be/Z7PRgj1fURU?feature=shared >>449 i'll have to watch that giftpia video in full sometime, it looks really interesting, but skimming through it, i don't think i got a good idea of what the game is like... >>451 if i never have to see another person recommend this exact game, it'll still be too soon...

I like to dig around sites like to old YoYoGames Sandbox's archives or The Daily Click for small, unknown indie games. This one game I keep coming back to every odd month or so though, it's called Princess Fantasy Catventure. https://web.archive.org/web/20160330003622/http://sandbox.yoyogames.com/games/205669

Core of Innocence! It's a metroidvania with a dress up system (meaning you can see your character's boobs if you remove your shirt and bra). https://archive.org/details/co-i_20221118

Oh that's pretty cool

not sure how niche this is, but i think Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt is really cute and fun. very simple yet colorful graphics. you can play it on steam for free. Trick & Treat is nice too. it's a short halloween RPGmaker game. also free on steam.

>>475 I played quite a bit of princess fantasy catventure thankyou anon For my own contribution I reccommend Crypt Underworlds by LilithZone https://lilithzone.itch.io/crypt-underworld It's a surreal walking sim that's kinda underrated if you ask me.

>>733 Can wholeheartedly recommend Remedy as well, it's very fun to revisit it once in a while. I think the version from Remar's website that lacks the flashing colors is superior though, if you want to play it, get that one. https://www.remar.se/daniel/remedy.php

>>748 crypt underworlds looks like it could be interesting. if you recommend it i may give it a try. >>749 i see! i did not know about this version. very cool.
