Where do you primarily go to find new music to listen to? I've been struggling with finding new stuff and I'm getting tired listening to the same 10 songs 24/7

I have a strange feeling someone else already asked this here

Your fortune: Good Luck

https://www.metal-archives.com I also asked some musicians around where core (primarily deathcore and downtempo) guys gather, but so far got ignored. Maybe I should asked some more people. Until then, I'll have to live without some musical breakdowns, mental ones will have to suffice.

>>9841 https://rateyourmusic.com/ but I don't listen to music much. Forum threads are good for finding new stuff as well.

It depends on the genre of music you're looking for. Generally what I do is look for the most well acclaimed albums or artists of a genre I want to delve deeper into using something like rym or by looking up "greatest (genre) albums of all time" and start from the top and see what clicks and what doesn't. For more underground stuff I've found that yt recommendations can actually be really helpful. I made a yt account I use just for listening to music and it has actually found some interesting pieces on it's own. You can also try looking for user made playlists on yt or as a last resort looking through forums to find recommendations (although I wouldn't recommend it lol). If you're totally new to music and don't have any genres in mind you can read the description of the most influential ones through here https://rateyourmusic.com/genres/ and choose one that sounds cool to you.

finding good music is such a pain, no matter the genre music that feels inspired and original is rare and because so many people flock to these dumbasses making shit music the problem is exasperated

nts.live/ https://radio.kwsx.online/ i recommend nts the most

>>

ive been using lastfm and spotify discovery to find music over the last decade, never failed me

I find new music to listen to in the media I watch. Or maybe YouTube recommendations.
