>>9412 national costumes are cool. they're an interesting reflection of a nation's ethnic tradition, of which should be protected and cherished. i think European national costumes are greatly overshadowed by African ones, especially in the US.

>>9424 >but everything, especially in the west, is just all the same now >>9427 >i think European national costumes are greatly overshadowed by African ones, especially in the US. I agree, its sad that Anti-White rhetoric is so strong in America that any display of cultural affection is treated as a treat everyone else cry I lived for a short period in a country that recently gained its independence and for someone interested in culture and history, it was amazing. Basically everyone there was a walking there was a walking history book and took intense pride in their culture neco_dance2

>>9433 >anti-white rhetoric >any display of cultural affection is treated as a threat not really sure what you're on about skeptical nobody is getting mad about the dutch town of Pella, Iowa (pictured here)

>>9434 Small insular immigrant communities like that, especially in the Midwest tend to just fly under the radar because its not really known for much more than pastries and tulips laugh But if it ever became anything more than a wooden shoe themed Chinatown, people would get uncomfortable vengence

>>9433 agreed. not only is there negative pressure from anti-white rhetoric, most white Americans simply don't really care about their ancestry. which is not exactly their fault, the whole American idea is to cast off previous ethnic ties and dedicate oneself to being American above all else. >>9434 Pella, Iowa's population of 10k people is 94% white in a conservative-leaning flyover state. the tune would be much different in liberal areas with larger ethnic populations.

>>9435 nah, pretty sure some big youtuber made a video visiting the place and everyone just finds it charming. it's genuine european culture without the racism

>>9439 one youtuber making a video online does not represent or encapsulate the complexity of modern American race relations in the slightest. besides, the most viewed video when searching "Pella, Iowa" on youtube has 45k views which is basically nothing. not sure where you got that conclusion from.

>most white Americans simply don't really care about their ancestry. because you don't have any. you conquered a land that never belonged to your through ruthless genocide and now you wonder why god makes you payskeptical

>>9441 >because you don't have any i wasn't aware white Americans simply materialized out of thin air onto the East coast. >conquered a land that never belonged to you in ruthless genocide welcome to human history. the Natives warred against and conquered each other just as much as other regions of the world did. also an estimated 95% of Native Americans died from disease, which they did not have immunity for due to lack of citybuilding. so sure the aggressive nature of European settlers didn't help (which, once again was not abnormal even between other Native tribes) it was primarily the cocktail of European diseases that caused a large majority of the deaths. this was hundreds of years before germ theory. beyond that, Native stories about scalping, horrendous torture, and brutal warfare are not exaggerated. they were not peace-loving hippies living in wonderland until muh evil Whitey showed up. i am not proposing that the population collapse of Native Americans is a good thing or that European settlers are blameless, but your framing of the situation is intentionally in bad faith and is only proving our point.
