how hard is computer science? i am going back to school for a degree and it seems like my best choice for a career, employment rate in the 5 years post graduation is 19/20 is /aca/ visible on /all? idk so posting on /en/

not them but that's unwarranted aggression and they gave you a good reply for your question. you can check the courses and the syllabi for whatever college you have in mind yourself. what people here can give you is the general vibe: it isn't calculus that filters people, it's programming

it depends on the university itself, if you're going to an ivy league then you'd find it full of theory, which is beautiful but so challenging and unpractical but if you went to a john university you'd do some combination of hopefully modern development courses and gradate. but you need to familiarize yourself first with creating somewhat big programming projects if you wanna do well but wherever you go, the hardest thing about a CS degree imo is dealing with unnecessary courses that bloat your schedule
