This is one of the few imageboards where I have not seen much transphobia, it made me wonder why so many imageboards have a culture of racism, handholdingism, homophobia and transphobia. im guessing its due to the anonymous part but shouldn't there be just as many anonymous people against that bigotry? 
>>12697 Look I'm going to be honest with you, it's just not brought up much naturally in conversations outside of social media and politics unless you or someone you know identifies as such. Pointing it out will only increase the potential of discourse to happen and not everyone will agree with you whether they are right or not. It's not really a great idea to talk about it with a bunch of anonymous people because I just know others will make their comments and my stance hasn't been said but everyone has their own ideas of what I think without me saying what my opinion is.

To be frank, tansgenders have a bad habit of being annoying, sensitive, and having half of their personality be the fact they're trans. Beyond the obvious fact that some of us are chuds, people who use imageboards don't like to be policed on their behavior and humor, which is something LGBT people do constantly. It's fine if they post but changing the site culture and vibe to cater to them is something everyone wants to avoid, so it's better to be edgy and filter those who can't handle it. The fact you're trying to police imageboards on their "bigotry" is a pretty big red flag in itself.

>>12701 Anonymous imageboards have always been the home for eccentric, weird, outcasted people. We love the freedom to say and do what we want. Imageboards are the echoes of a wilder internet and we want to hold onto that. Even if hikari3 tries to be a bit more tame than others through moderation, I'd much rather deal with the edgy behavior and immature fun (including trolling, slurs, harassment, whatever) than deal with the crying of Bluesky users about problematic behavior. A million times over. If someone can't handle this then there are other places online for them to go. The "bigotry" is fun and it filters undesirables. A site can run into the issue of being too edgy, sharty being an example of this, but generally complaining about bigotry on imageboards deserves being called a roody-poo.
