Good as an introduction: Calculus Made Easy It's good if you want to self study and get into it (It helped me during AP Calc when I was in high school)
>>
https://www.youtube.com/@TheOrganicChemistryTutor/featured covers a wide range of topics in STEM with good examples i really recommend this, it worked better for me than books since i listen better when someone audibly explains it + this guy is better at explaining than most teachers i've had

For anyone taking algorithm/data structures classes, this guy makes really easy to understand, short videos about it https://www.youtube.com/@MichaelSambol

What's the best book/resource to study United States history?
>>
>>4 >AP Calc Paul's Online Math Notes

>>172 Dummit and Foote's book on Abstract Algebra is much MUCH better. It's much friendlier to beginners and undergrads than serge lang but still gives fully fleshed explanations with detail. The exercises are really good too (the non-proof ones were somewhat fun to do as well). https://library.lol/main/04C9A91190312BDA1928685064338589

>>6 >>>6 explains it >+ this guy is better at explaining than most teachers i've had Think that could be applied to public schools in general. I didnt honestly learn much in High school but Khan Academy helped out with math for everyday life. Thanks for the link.

>>173 Depends on what part of US history you're looking to study. Our Nation's Archive: The History of the United States in Documents is a pretty good one if you're looking for something deeper than just a high school textbook. https://www.amazon.com/Our-Nations-Archive-History-Documents/dp/1579120679

>>173 A People's History of the US by Howard Zinn is a good overview. Like all books that give an overview its pretty flawed, glosses over certain areas, and a bit reductive but it needs to be to cover the entire history. There is a populist bias to it, Zinn was a disillusioned WW2 bomber pilot who joined the anti-Vietnam war movement, but overall the book is fair. It will give you a good overview of the timeline but remember it glosses over the details. If you want to understand specific issues or time periods, you'll have to read books dedicated to them.
